We joined to help one brand and stayed for five: programme management, four roadshows, brand engagement, a network readiness tracker with over 1,400 users, an AI direct sales simulator, & a dynamic reporting tool.

The Brief

thebigteam was required to provide five programme managers and one change manager to support the deployment of a retail agency sales channel into a multi-branded OEM based in the UK, alongside their existing fleet agency and wholesale sales channels.

Approach

One programme manager was assigned to each brand to support the phased deployment model; thebigteam defined a 'style' and approach to meet the client's need; our team took the strain of the programme and change management whilst enabling the stakeholders in the brand to focus on decision making, the execution of their responsibilities and 'doing their day job'. We deployed a bespoke version of Smartsheet across the whole group, providing weekly and sometimes daily check-ins and working with dynamic reporting. thebigteam partnered with the OEM for over three years, developing and evolving the approach to meet their needs. Alongside the programme management, thebigteam developed and executed a change management plan for internal stakeholders to help transition from wholesaler to retailer.

Outcome

A blueprint process for deployment evolved with each brand, refining it based on real-world learning.
Development of an online multi-branded retail network readiness tracker deployed to over 700 sites and over 1500 users.
A suite of engagement assets for internal brand use and self-running activities to deploy into the retail network using physical and virtual mediums and gamification techniques.
